A symbol of the Caribbean islands is cruising around Cherry Creek Reservoir providing scenic and relaxing rides around the local lake.
The Colorado Tiki Boat offers cruises to individuals and groups up to 15 passengers. Decked out in bamboo, natural woven thatch and topped by a rustic canvas shade roof, the Colorado Tiki pontoon boat provides an affordable way to actually get out on our in-town lake that most residents see only by driving across The Dam Road. The tiki boat plan was created by area resident John Edwards, who also organizes the weekend Boomer Social Network dances and events for singles.
All cruises start from The Wharf, a separate grassed picnic area south of the Lake House at Pelican Bay at Cherry Creek. The wide, stable boat floats slowly past water skiers, wake boarders and jet skiers racing around the center of the lake. Paddle boarders and kayaks share our route.
Our public cruises run on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00am and Noon. The Colorado Tiki Boat provides complimentary bottled water, soft drinks and packaged Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. Use this link to learn more about public cruises on Cheery Creek Resevoir.
The Colorado Tiki Boat also features private cruises that are a great way for bachelorette parties, office parties, corporate outings, and more to enjoy a pleasant afternoon catching up together. The boat and captain are available most days of the week with advance notice. Use this link to learn more about private cruises on Cheery Creek Resevoir.
